What’s your favorite tour food?
BBQ Chicken Baker at Al’s in Birmingham, AL. Its a XL baked potato stuffed with BBQ Chicken, cheese, sourcream, and chives
1/2 pound Bacon Avocado Burger at Sam’s Burger Joint in San Antonio,TX
Any All-You-Can-Eat Chinese Buffet. haha.

What’s the first food you eat when you get home from tour?
Clyde Cooper’s BBQ, chopped BBQ plate, collard greens and potato salad.

What’s the weirdest thing you have eaten on tour?
5 lbs of crawfish at the Tuscaloosa Crawfish Boil.

What’s the best food city and why?
New York City. I know its the cliche answer but it really is the best city in the country for food. No matter what I’m in the mood for, I always leave happy.

Regular or Diet?
I don’t drink soda. I’m a sweet tea man myself. But if i had to pick, it would be diet

Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free?
I am the definition of a carnivore, but again if I have to choose vegetarian.

What’s for breakfast?
We dont leave the hotel until 1 or 2pm. Usually, grab something off the hotel continental breakfast.

Spicy or Mild?
Extra Spicy.

What’s on your bar tab?
Double Jameson on the rocks

Do you see the dessert menu?
Always. I’m sold on anything that mixes peanut butter and chocolate.

Do you grow your own food?
I’m not home enough.

Are you adventurous or stick to trusted favorites?
Adventurous. I always go with the local recommendation.

Coffee? How do you take it?
Black. Dark Roast.

Do you like to cook?
Love to cook. When I’m home I try to take advantage of having a kitchen as much as possible.

Do you eat for pure taste or nutrition value?
Taste, Taste, Taste.

What do you eat before you hit the stage?
I usually try to keep it light right before the show. Usually snack on whatever is in the green room. Veggie trays or tortilla chips

If your sound had a taste, what would it taste like?
It would taste like my moms cooking. Classic country fare. No frills, just meat and potatoes.
